Coretox
Coretox is the world first 150kDA Botulinum Toxin product without animal-derived component in toxin culture media and end product of HSA. Recently in the US and Europe, people avoid using human or animal-derived proteins when manufacturing drugs. However, it is recommended to find alternatives in terms of production. For Coretox, no animal components were added to the toxin culture media during the toxin source manufacturing. Polysorbate20 and L-methionine, which are listed in the US FDA, were used as the stabilizer in lieu of human serum albumin (HSA).
As a result of eliminating the animal components, the risk of potential infection by blood-derived pathogens of infectious microorganisms were reduced for Coretox, so a higher degree of safety has been achieved.

Botulax is a muscle relaxant primarily designed for peripheral use. It consists of purified botulinum toxin type A, which is combined with haemagglutinin, along with sodium chloride as an excipient.
